How To Get There

Derry/Londonderry is located in the North West of Northern Ireland approx one hour by car from Belfast International Airport. The city is well served by both bus and trains and of course has its own airport which has daily flights from both England and Scotland. Our Field Course is very easy to find as it is on an arterial route on the city side of the Foyle Bridge. We will be providing maps and Sat Nav details to the course and accommodation in due course.

The NIFAA and Foyle Valley A.C. cordially invite members of the UKIFAC community to the first UKIFAC to be held in Northern Ireland. The tournament will take place at the Brook Hall Estate on the outskirts of the beautiful City of Londonderry on the banks of the Foyle River.

Tournament Information.
Capacity.  The tournament will feature 2 x 28 target Courses meaning that places are limited to 224 archers.Places will be allocated on first come, first served basis and a waiting list will be introduced if numbers exceed the target figure.


Eligibility.
Members of the NIFAA, WFAA, EFAA, SFAA, IFAF are eliigible for main UKIFAC awards. Members of other IFAA affiliated governing bodies may shoot as guests. 

Entry List.
The entry list will be published on the NIFAA website (nifaa.co.uk)  as soon as the entry has opened and will be up-dated regularly until the closing date for entries. 

Style Divisions.
All styles and age divisions recognised by the IFAA except for Professional Unlimited and Limited divisions. Archers in these divisions will shoot in the equivalent division.
 

Rounds.
1 x Hunter 28 targets.  1 x Field 28 targets. 

Practice Butts.
Practice Butts will be available for use by competitors prior to each round as per schedule.

Catering.
Hot food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout both days from 0830hrs. 

Parking.
There is ample parking on site but archers are encouraged to ‘pool’ cars were possible due to the large numbers of competitors expected. 

Toilet Facilities.
Flushing toilet facilities and wash areas on site. 

Tournament Fees.
Adult £20.00     Junior/Cub £10.00.

No entries will be accepted without appropriate Fees.  The Closing date will be midnight on Friday 14th July 2017.

Friday 21st July 2017.

Registration, Bow inspection, practice butts 1200hrs – 1800hrs 

Saturday 22nd July. 

Registration, bow inspection, practice butts 0800hrs – 0930hrs 

Muster 0945hrs, Shooting commences 1030hrs.


​Mayor's Reception 1900hrs approx.


Sunday 23rd July. 

Range open from 0730hrs.  Practice butts close 0845hrs. 

Muster 0900

Shoot starts 09.30 sharp. 

The awards ceremony will commence on site as soon as all scores are collated.

Entries And Accommodation Now Open 


All of the information you need for entries and accommodation bookings is on the entry form which is available to download as a Word document or PDF. If there is anything you want to ask us just email us at ukifac2017@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.


We have negotiated a great price for accommodation at the local University Campus, only £45 B&B. This is located approximately 1 mile from the shoot and is about the same distance from the city centre.

Rooms are all en-suite, most are single occupancy although a few double rooms may be available on request.


This is only available through our entry form.

After the first round on Saturday we have an evening's entertainment planned which will include a 

Mayoral Reception and some traditional music and dance
